I have been gravitating towards outfits that I can wear both to work and out for fun, but this outfit is definitely an exception for all the fun. When I stopped by The Impeccable Pig in Cameron Village, I immediately fell in love with this look. I thought the corduroy dress was a cute piece that could be paired with several different items in my closet. But this embroidered sleeve top really took the cake for me with the ruffle and bell sleeve. It is a crop top, which I don’t generally wear, but considering that the dress covered up anything, I was totally obsessed with tihs look.
I paired this look with my favorite booties (seen often, but most recently here) and this gray tote bag for a more casual look for dinner with Angela. I really loved the overall vibe of this outfit, and I felt that it was a good neutral option, which I gravitate to in the fall and winter, but also had the fun element with the sleeves.
Cameron Village is full of great shopping options for trendy and affordable options, like the Impeccable Pig. And their staff is just the best from offering style suggestions to just generally giving a positive and upbeat vibe. Another great thing about Cameron Village are all the dinner options available for after shopping, including the new kid on the block, so•ca. I definitely recommend checking this restaurant out as it has great vegetarian and vegan options.

My favorite fashion trend for fall is definitely all the embroidery options (as seen here). What are your favorite fashion trends for fall? Where is your favorite dinner spot in Cameron Village?
I hope you had a great weekend. Be sure to check back on Wednesday for a fun weekend adventure I had a few weeks ago!

That top is so cute on you! I like that dress too. I had a hunter green corduroy dress when I was in high school and your post is making me wish that I still had it! 🙂
