A few years ago, I shared bad beauty habits I was trying to break. Since then, I’ve been taking my skincare more seriously and have updated my 5 minute beauty routine. While some of these products are my tried and true products, some of them are specific for keeping my skin bright as we start to transition to cooler months while keeping my skin well hydrated. Here are the 10 products for your fall skincare routine this season. You can see my favorites for your winter skincare routine here.
Fall Skincare Routine: Top 10 Products to Use this Season

Since I’m wearing make up consistently now, I double cleanse in the evenings. I use this balm to help take my makeup off. My pro tip is that I do this as soon as I get home from work in the evenings if I’m not going back out so that my skin has time to breathe. Lo & Behold is a clean beauty line made in Durham, NC and her products are some of my favorites!
The chamomile in this really soothes my skin as I tend to be splotchy and can be a bit red at times. It’s a must have in your skincare routine! It doesn’t try your face out and really does an excellent job removing make up.
Honest Beauty Gentle Gel Cleanser
After I remove my makeup, I cleanse a second time with this gel cleanser. It’s light and the chamomile and calendula extracts do really well for my skin as well.
I use the make up eraser cloth with both of my cleanses. I like that it helps remove make up without soap, too. It works well with my eyelash extensions and the exfoliating side is a nice bonus!
Alpyn Beauty Wildcrafted Creamy Bubbling Cleanser
I recently had a facial at AILLEA in Cameron Village and this cleanser was part of my experience. It is my go-to morning cleanser and really makes my face feel bright and fresh, plus it doesn’t leave a soapy residue, despite the bubbling name.
Lo & Behold White Turmeric & Green Tea Eye Cream
This under eye cream is my favorite for night time. It hydrates so well, but the green tea helps me wake up looking a bit more awake, which is always a plus!
For this product, I use both at night and in the morning. I use it as my first serum at night, and then as my base for my make up routine in the morning. The vitamin C has definitely been helping my skin and this particular serum has been my favorite out of all that I’ve tried so far. It’s light, has a bit of a shimmer to it, and makes my skin feel soft immediately after applying.
Lo & Behold Neroli & Chamomile Facial Serum
At night, I layer this on top of my vitamin C serum for a bit more hydration. I really like the ingredients in this for calming my skin down at the end of the day, and it has helped some of the spots of my face that are prone to dryness.
I’ll use this product both at night and in the mornings if my skin is feeling dehydrated. I like how light weight it is and how quickly it absorbs into my skin. It’s definitely a great moisturizer, especially for the price!
My friend, Kayd, introduced me to this product back at the end of last year and it’s quickly become a non-negotiable in my nightly routine. I can 100% tell if I miss a night of using this. It keeps my lips well hydrated and I wake up without needing to do much more than put on this lip balm and walk out the door.
If you’ve been reading for a while, this is my consistent go-to in my beauty product arsenal. I use it for a setting spray after applying make up, at night for a little bit of extra hydration, and I have a travel size that I carry with me when flying, plus one in my work bag and at my desk for when I need a little pick me up. You cannot go wrong with this multi-purpose product!
I’m also still using my favorite self-tanning drops. See more of my favorite self-tanning products here.
