Good morning, friends and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that whatever you do today, you enjoy yourself! DG and I will be hosting a small meal with friends while facetiming family in other towns and cities.
I wanted to take a second and offer my gratitude since last year’s post. I am incredibly grateful for my friends and family, who just seem to get better with age. I also can’t express my appreciation to DG, Winston, and Gizmo, who are the best possible, even on the worst day. DG is truly my person and I constantly wonder how he can be so patient!
I am incredibly blessed with a job that challenges me, co-workers that push but also support me, and to impact policies that are bigger than I could have ever imagined when I wrote my life goals list at 20 years old. But I am also blessed with this space. I have been so happy with the collaborations and opportunities I have received, and I can’t say thank you enough to the readers, friends, and brands who I work with!
As I approach the big milestone of 30 years old in January, I’ve been a little concerned that I didn’t accomplish enough. But, when I really stop and think about the positivity in my life, I know that it doesn’t matter how many things I checked off a list, but more about the day-to-day accomplishments that line up to a bigger picture.
So, I hope today, you take time to reflect on all the positivity in your life going into lunch or dinner, but also into the next holiday season. Have a wonderful day, eat all the things, and take a break from social media.
See you back here tomorrow for some of my favorite Black Friday sales!
Happy Thanksgiving!
