I’m not one for fashion rules, so I subscribe to the idea of what makes me feel comfortable and confident. One of those rules that I started breaking several years ago is wearing white after Labor Day. I love pairing a good pair of white skinnies with a sweater during the fall and winter. I’ve rounded up some of the ways that I’ll be wearing white after Labor Day while it is still hot and humid here in the South.
How to Wear White After Labor Day
One Top, Four Ways
I have loved this Farm Rio lace top this summer! I have found it to be an incredibly versatile piece in my closet and plan on wearing it well into the fall paired with denim and skirts. It’s still technically summer until September 22, so here are some ways I’ve styled it for warm weather that I plan on continuing to incorporate into my weekly fashion rotation.

White Puff-Sleeve Dress, 3 Ways
J. Crew dress is quite fun and comes in a few colors, including black. I opted for the white and appreciate that it is well lined. It holds its shape well, has pockets (!!!!!), and cute puff sleeves.
Wide-Leg Chinos, 3 Ways
These wide-leg chinos are great for work and also fun for weekend wear. They’re great to pair with sleeveless or short sleeve tops now, and to transition to lightweight sweaters later in the fall.
