With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I’ve rounded up a few gift ideas for the mamas in your life. While these are some of my favorite gift ideas regardless of the occasion, these are the perfect unique Mother’s Day gift ideas to celebrate and pamper those loved ones. This guide that I wrote last year during quarantine has more great ideas, too!

I am such a fan of the gold earrings that Hunter Blake makes and these oyster earrings are so stunning! They’re beautiful for spring and summer. The leopard print needlepoint pillow is perfect for the mama who is a leopard print lover! It’s beach and pool season, so this book is the perfect addition to a beach bag–bonus points that it’s written by a North Carolina author. This Chappy Wrap blanket is a cozy option for the home.
These Rifle Paper Co. sneakers are such a classic option for spring and the d’Orsay cut is such a fun shape. Gardenia is one of my favorite scents and this candle is such a luxe version! The signet ring and heart necklace are such sweet personalized gifting options. This Lake pajama set is worth the hype–they are the softest and the comfiest for lounging around on a weekend. The Elemis soak is a great addition to a self-care routine. Julie Vos makes stunning pieces of jewelry and this cuff is a statement piece. Equilibria has put together a box featuring items for a calming experience and that would be a great gift idea. I can’t recommend gifting a Prose Custom Box enough either. Prose customizes hair care based on a survey and provides a routine based on desired results.
Experiences to Consider for Mother’s Day Gift Giving
When I was preparing for this post, I reached out to several friends who shared some of the gift ideas included here. Each one of them also shared that while they appreciate gifts, they also appreciate acts of service and quality time for themselves as the ultimate gift. Here are some of their responses:
Let me think… I am pretty basic so I love a spa day/mani pedi situation. But maybe a locket or charm bracelet with my kids initials or names. Or for normal times a good book, a coffee shop gift certificate, and an afternoon of childcare to go sit in a cafe and read in peace and quiet would be a dream for a lot of people including myself!
I’m lame. All I ever want is to sleep and be left alone for the day LOL. Some yoga, yummy breakfast, and drinking bubbles all day if I want.
I just told my kids I want to sleep in- someone else get up w dog at 6 AM, my car washed, someone to make dinner, and someone to make me cake. So obviously I’m all about acts of service vs “things.”
Offering to take the kids so that your favorite mama can enjoy a cup of coffee, a good book, bird watching, a nap, gardening, or really anything that gives them some time to relax and do something that they enjoy is a good summary of all of the responses.
Thanks to my pals for offering their suggestions and sharing their own personal preferences. And I hope that however you decide to celebrate your loved ones, your day is filled with grace, love, and peace.
