As I mentioned, our ceremony site was at the Raleigh Rose Garden, a separate venue than our reception. We thought it was simple but gorgeous. Our biggest disappointment was the grounds not being well maintained (like that fountain) despite being told it would. But hey, it is what it is.
Our officiant was one of our close friends and he did an awesome job. His wife was one of my bridesmaids and she was so nervous for him. It was a short ceremony with readings by DG’s two sisters and a solo by a former student of mine. It was great to have intimate touches to our ceremony and it made it really special for us.
My cousin Parker escorted my mom to her seat.
