Good morning & Happy Monday! This weekend was full of celebrating my 30th and I couldn’t think of a better way than in Eastern North Carolina on Saturday & with a new-to-me restaurant with DG.

Saturday, I went to Greenville to spend the day with my boo, Hillary. We ate barbeque, shopped, caught up on our lives, and we had dinner at Chef & the Farmer. You may have seen Vivian Howard on PBS for her show A Chef’s Life. I definitely think you should watch it. It’s great insight on what’s happened in the region and why it is in need of revitalization.

Sunday, David took me to dinner at Acme in Carrboro. We’ve heard great things about this restaurant and it was definitely a place I’d add to my list of places to eat in North Carolina.

This looks amazing! I will have to take a day trip to Greenville myself!

These restaurants look delicious! Being from Winston-Salem, I’ve always been a Lexington (not eastern) BBQ kind of girl. But that sandwich sure does look good…
Fabulous birthday weekend, and I spy bubbles! Happy Birthday gurlie <3
Such a fun weekend!!! I really want to go to Chef and the Farmer sometime!
