Good morning & Happy Monday! Â This weekend was full of celebrating my 30th and I couldn’t think of a better way than in Eastern North Carolina on Saturday & with a new-to-me restaurant with DG.
Saturday, I went to Greenville to spend the day with my boo, Hillary. Â We ate barbeque, shopped, caught up on our lives, and we had dinner at Chef & the Farmer. Â You may have seen Vivian Howard on PBS for her show A Chef’s Life. Â I definitely think you should watch it. Â It’s great insight on what’s happened in the region and why it is in need of revitalization.
Sunday, David took me to dinner at Acme in Carrboro. Â We’ve heard great things about this restaurant and it was definitely a place I’d add to my list of places to eat in North Carolina.

How was your weekend? Â Link up with Biana and me to tell us about it.

Glad you had a fun birthday weekend!
This looks amazing! I will have to take a day trip to Greenville myself!

These restaurants look delicious! Being from Winston-Salem, I’ve always been a Lexington (not eastern) BBQ kind of girl. But that sandwich sure does look good…
Fabulous birthday weekend, and I spy bubbles! Happy Birthday gurlie <3
Such a fun weekend!!! I really want to go to Chef and the Farmer sometime!
