To say that 2017 was an amazing year for me would be a big understatement. In my personal life, professional life, and then over here on I’m Fixin’ To, 2017 was a fantastic year. I am proud of the work that I have done on I’m Fixin’ To, and as I say every year, I had no idea just how many opportunities that this blog would bring. I wanted to share my seventeen most popular blog posts of 2017 to lead in to 2018 because while they were my most popular with my readers, they were also some of my favorite to write.
When I rebranded in 2016, I wanted to focus more on North Carolina and all that it has to offer. This came at a time where I was feeling a bit lost professionally. I felt a calling to support a lot of my interests, and I felt that bringing that to my blog would fill a void. I had no idea the opportunities I would have based off of that rebranding, and the posts that are North Carolina themed are always my favorite. I am especially proud that two eastern North Carolina posts made the list here, and even more so that one is showcasing my hometown.
It had been a dream and goal of mine to stay at the renovated H.H. Richardson building the first time I ever visited Buffalo and found out what the plans were for the gorgeous building. I loved covering this hotel with DG, his sister, and our friend Brittany, and to shine light on the renaissance in DG’s home city.
And while I was beyond ready to move from our first home, seeing all the hard work we did made it incredibly bittersweet. I was a lot more emotional than I thought I would be, so I loved being able to share that with you.
So, without further ado, here are the top 17 posts of 2017.
I am truy excited about what 2018 is going to bring to I’m Fixin’ To! Thank you for following along and for your support over the years!
