I came to the conclusion a couple of years ago that I’m not a very good gift giver. I took a quiz to determine what my love language was and learned quickly that mine are quality time and acts of service, which is why I generally prefer to give gifts where I get to spend time with the person doing an activity that they’ve been wanting to do or enjoy. However, I really jumped on board with the themed wedding anniversary gifts by year. To be honest, David and I don’t generally get each other gifts because we opt for trips and experiences instead. This makes it even more shocking that we have stuck to wedding anniversary gifts. Here are wedding anniversary gift ideas for your other half for years 1-5.
Wedding Anniversary Gift Ideas for your Other Half:
YEAR 1: PAPER
These beautiful Rifle Paper Co. lined notebooks
I bought David a pack of these for our first anniversary, and he keeps one with him at all times.
Our Q&A a Day Journal was one of our favorite ways to relax in the evenings
YEAR 2 – COTTON
A sweet gift idea with coordinates printed on canvas
This cotton rope basket is great for beach trips or home decoration.
Year 3 – Leather
The perfect duffle for overnight stays, whether it’s a staycation or a carry-on
These personalized earbud organizers such a fun gift idea
Personalized Leather Wallet (three different style options)
Year 4 – Fruit & Flowers or Linen & Silk
Having your wedding bouquet made into a faux bouquet as a keepsake.
You could book flights to the Big Apple for a gift, and use this ornament as a souvenir.
Year 5 – Wood
Desktop Charging Station for tech gadgets
This burns beautifully
Wooden Beer Caddy with Bottle Opener and Removable Inserts; would be cute with bud vases, too.
