One of my favorite ways to unwind in the evenings is to light a candle and relax with something to read or a favorite show. I like to change up our home fragrances with the season and with spring in full force, Â I am excited to bring some of the best smells into our house. Today, I am sharing 7 spring fragrances to freshen up your home with updated twists on traditional favorite fragrances.
7 Home Fragrances to Freshen Up for Spring
Bath & Body Works Rose Water & Ivy
I’ve been on a major rose water kick over the past year or so, and this fragrance is just so fresh and light.
Bath & Body Works White Gardenia
Gardenia is always one of my favorite scents and flowers. My mom had a gardenia bush right near our backdoor when I was in high school and college, and it brings back fond memories. I also carried gardenias in my wedding bouquet, so I like to burn this candle around this time to remind me of those times.
Simpatico White Flower
This is the signature fragrance at the Umstead, which is one of the most relaxing places I’ve experienced. I keep the reed diffuser in our guest bedrooms and our bathrooms year round. It is a beautiful scent and a huge bonus for the hobnail glass the liquid is in.
Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede
No one does floral fragrances better than Jo Malone, and the peony and suede is hands down the best home fragrance option. It also smells great in the lotion version as well.
Mrs. Meyers Geranium
I hosted a girls’ night and needed a quick home fragrance option, so I snagged this candle from our local grocery store. It was a huge hit, plus the price didn’t break the bank. It is such a happy, clean scent and the Mrs. Meyers candles burn so cleanly.
Capri Blue Paris
Capri Blue makes some of the best fragrances, and this one is hands down one of their best. There are notes of ginger, vanilla, violet, and white tea. It makes a great gift, whether it’s Mother’s Day, housewarming, or a just because gift.
Diptyque Roses
This fragrance is a beautiful version of a rose scent and not a stuffy version. Diptyque candles are a bit pricer, but they burn so well and one candle will fill up the whole house.
