Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! A holiday to take a step back and to really consider all the positives in life and to spend time with the family and friends. This year, we’re doing our Thanksiginvg a little differently and keeping it small with our friends. Saturday, we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving with my folks.
This year, my list of gratitude is really similar to last year. The only difference is I’m over the moon with gratitude that my in-laws and I have started mending our relationship. Last year was rough with neither DG nor I having a good relationship, but things are muchTbetter now and we are both so excited to have this relationship growing.
Of course I’m thankful for my parents. They are seriously wonderful people and I really hit the jackpot.
Since I’m an only child, having a sister-in-law with nieces and nephews I can call my own is a great feeling. Not to mention my friends who let me be “Aunt Crazy” to their precious babies.
I’m so grateful to my friends who put up with my neurotic personality. I also hit the friend jackpot, too, and each year that I get older, I realize how important having good, trustworthy friends in my corner is!
I tell you all the time, but thank you so much for your support. I had no clue what I was embarking on when I started this blog, but I am so grateful for the friendships I’ve made, the opportunities I’ve been granted, and the ability to express my creativity.
DG and my two crazy pups are my rocks. I often have a hard time describing how I feel to have DG and my pups in my life, mainly because I wonder how I got so lucky.
What are you thankful for this year?
I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!
I am so happy to hear all of this! So grateful to have you as such an amazing friend.
