This post sponsored by Southern Breeze Sweet Tea. Â As always, my opinion is 100% my own.
One thing I love about summer is the time to leisurely try new recipes, enjoy more time outdoors in the evening, and to catch up with DG nightly. Â Everything feels so much more relaxed during this time of year, even with our crazy schedules. Â I gave up drinking soda a couple of years ago, but I do enjoy a good sweet tea every now and then. Â Southern Breeze Sweet Tea is a favorite brand that I reach for when I make a pitcher.
Southern Breeze Sweet Tea is made in Georgia and while it has the Southern sweet tea flavor I know and love, it has zero calories. Â This is a huge plus for me, because I try to avoid extra calories and extra sugar these days. Â These are real tea bags with sweetener already in the bags, so no extra sugar is needed.
To celebrate my return back to NC and being under contract on our second house, DG & I celebrated with a new cocktail recipe using Southern Breeze Sweet Tea. Â We made Mint Juelp Sweet Tea, a recipe that I found in Southern Living.

1 lemon, sliced
2 tablespoons sugar
3 cups cold Southern Breeze sweet tea

crushed ice
Garnish: fresh mint sprigs
