Good morning and happy Monday, y’all! My weekend flew by, as usual, so here’s my recap according to Instagram. P.S. I’d love to have you follow along with me: @champagneandsuburbs.
Thursday night, my sweet friend, Caroline from the Barbee Housewife, invited me to the Eric Church concert. I was SO excited to spend some time with her and Maddie and to rock out with Mr. Church. He is one of my celeb crushes these days and let me tell you, the man does a darn good concert.
I’ve been in the process of diong some house updates. Here are a few of my current favorites.
I got a boxwood wreath from my trip to Edenton from Summerhouse Designs. I picked up the Rose Rewined candle from the Polka Dot Palm in Edenton, which is a scent I absolutely love! And I always love having fresh flowers from Trader Joe’s in the house. Also, I tried out a local bakery and picked up some cupcakes for a co-workers birthday and some macaroons for me.
This month’s Rocksbox is hands down my favorite. Have you tried it yet? Use code: champagneandsuburbsxoxo to try your 1st month for free! I picked up a couple of items from Lilly when Lilly for Target was a zoo. These new running shoes are like pillows for my feet. Mizuno running shoes are definitely the best for me.
Saturday was rainy and chilly, so I curled up with our Kindle Fire and The Girl on the Train. I finished the book in one day because I seriously couldn’t put it down.
Did you catch my recipe from yesterday? OMG, it was delish!
And no weekend post is complete without a Winston picture (or two).
How was your weekend? Link up and tell Biana and me about it!
Ooooh, glad to hear you loved The Girl on the Train. That's on my reading list! And I have that recipe on my menu for this week. Looks delish!
LOVE those Lilly choices. I actually have the romper in my cart now! haha!
May have to try that brand of running shoes out. 🙂
Love that wreath over the mirror–so pretty! Looks like you guys had an awesome time at the concert, too 🙂
Your Lilly picks are so pretty!! And I always love me a good Winston picture 🙂 Happy Monday, friend!
Love your home updates, that wreath on the mirror is so pretty! I want to read Girl on the Train, everyone says it's amazing! Happy Monday! 🙂
I'm in love with that mirror!! SO fab!! You have great taste.
I need to make those lettuce wraps – they look amazing! xo, Biana – BlovedBoston
Love those running shoes… thinking of purchasing a new pair soon. Also need to try that book since I've heard so much about it lately.
Hopefully see you sometime soon!

Love that Lilly dress that you picket out.. and those Rewined candles are the best!! Can we plan to do something next weekend please?? I have the 9th-12th off 🙂
Girl on the Train is on my "to read" list, I will have to be sure to have time on my hands before I start it though. I can get lost in a book so easily and if you read it in a day, I know I would want to too.
I've heard so many good things about the Girl on the Train – glad you loved it and I'll have to add it to my list! Svetlana @ Life with a Side of Wine
Such a fun weekend!! and I'm loving that necklace in your RocksBox!
xo,
Angela
Pillows for my feet… love! And you finished Girl on the Train in one day?? What?? That's impressive!! Love your little updates around the house – sometimes they can make all the difference in the world!
What a fun weekend!! Eric Church is absolutely on my list of country stars I have to see. I bet it was a fun concert!
I tore through Girl on the Train in two days! It was so good, huh?! Yay for a wonderful weekend!
