I always like to welcome in the month with a picture to set the tone for the month and to share a scene with my favorite monthly calendar. The Reese’s peanut butter eggs are my favorite dessert regardless of the time of year.

I found this #daretodissent mural in downtown Raleigh while working on the Top 15 Coffee Shops in Raleigh post.. It was only appropriate that I was wearing my favorite RBG shirt, too.

I wish every month involved a stay at the Carolina Inn. It is the perfect spot to unwind after exploring Chapel Hill for the weekend.

Favorite Earrings for Spring:

I wore this sweater (old, similar here) to a date night a few weeks ago after making some preparations for spring on our front porch. Stay tuned for most posts on that in April!

After coming back from our wine tour in Surry County, I hosted a girls’ night for my girlfriends to sample our favorite wines from the trip. Check out the details on the cozy night in here, plus on our dinner at The Hen & The Hog (where this picture was taken).

I’ve been working on eating and drinking better and one of my favorite spots for that in Raleigh is at Happy + Hale. Dress details here.
