A couple of weeks ago, Angela, Glory, and I went to the new location of Happy + Hale in North Hills.  I featured Happy + Hale in my round up of the best açaà bowls in Raleigh, so I was so excited to see the new location.  It is so bright, airy, and I love the outdoor seating.  The location is much bigger than the one in downtown Raleigh, and it has a bit of a different menu, including cocktails!
We ordered the açaà bowl, the Endless Summer with seared salmon, and the avocado toast.  Plus, we tried the Pink Drink smoothie, an iced matcha latte, beet root latte, and and a golden milk latte.  I definitely liked the beet root latte for a coffee drink, but it was all delicious!  The brunch cocktails are unique and we sampled the avocado margarita, the aperol spritz, and the Mezcal Paloma.  The spritz was a refreshing cocktail, the avocado margarita was like a green smoothie, and the Mezcal is smokey, but light.
There are also to-go options included pressed juices and premade meals, and it is a great spot for a leisurely brunch or a quick lunch. Â I really like that both are options at the North Hills location!
I wanted to take a minute to talk about the cherry tomatoes on my salad. Â Those are Lester’s tomatoes, and Lester is a friend to Happy + Hale. Â He is a local, urban farmer and has worked with a few local food services. Â I truly appreciate that Happy + Hale uses local food sources, especially Lester, and his tomatoes were some of the best I have had this summer!

Have you tried Happy + Hale? Â There are four locations, one on Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, one in Durham, one in Greenville, South Carolina, and this newest venture in North Hills.
