I’ve had a little bit more time to shop online these days, and I have been influenced by some of my favorite people and blogs. Last spring, I shared a post of recent purchases with an honest review; so what better time than now? Below you will find recent purchases for home decor items, clothing items that transcend seasons, beauty, and self-care products.
10 Recent Purchases
We the Free Arden Tee
When it comes to recent purchases for clothing, I had been eyeing this tunic for a while. After having such great luck with Free People sweaters last season, and then I saw it on Lindsey and it affirmed my purchase. I ordered this in orchid light, but would love it in a light blue or white. It’s long enough to wear with leggings, skinnies, and in warmer weather, shorts. I also like that it has thumb holes on the cuff. 10/10 Recommend
Citizens of Humanity Rocket High-Rise Cropped Skinny Jeans
I ordered these jeans after seeing Lindsey style them with the previously mentioned tunic. I haven’t had a pair of light color jeans and these were on a good sale over on Anthropologie’s website the day I ordered them. I like that they have good stretch, so they’re great for wearing all day while working from home, but they’re all put together enough to wear out. I wouldn’t pay full price, but I do recommend if you find them on sale. 10/10 Recommend
Dr. Teal’s Epsom Salt Set
Hannah has shared this set before and I decided to order because I love an epsom salt bath. So, it comes with epsom salt soaking solution and foaming bath with lavender. It came at an ideal time, right at the beginning of quarantine, and has been a great addition to my self care routine. 10/10 Recommend
Press-On Nails
Because of COVID-19, I haven’t been able to have my nail appointments with Khameo, but I saw Becca share these press on nails. I used these before, and I would say that if I continue doing press on nails, I like this brand better. But, I love the style of these. However, I think the glue matters, so be sure to get a good one with a brush. Not into press-on nails? Check out these tips for the best manicure at home. 8/10 Recommend depending on brands
Etsy Peel and Stick Tiles
I’ve been really wanting to update our guest bathroom, and now we have all the time to do it. Shelby recently shared some updates to their new NYC apartment with peel and stick options, including peel and stick tiles. Whenever David and I decide to do home improvement projects, it’s important for us to consider the return on investment, and while I am excited about these updates, we didn’t want to break the bank on it. So, we’re excited to add these tile covers. We haven’t laid them yet because of a shoulder injury I sustained, so my recommendation is based on initial look and is subject to change after installation. 10/10 Recommend
Lack of Color Palma Wide Fedora
Katelyn Sailor has posted this hat too many times for me to not check it out. I loved that it has UPF 50+, which is a huge priority for me when considering my skin health. While it hasn’t come in yet, I will tell you just the fact that it has the sun protection gives it a higher rating. I’ll update the recommendation once I’ve worn it. 10/10 Recommend
R&Co Trophy Spray
Kendall posted about this, and it appears that we have similar hair texture. So, I decided to give it a try for texture on dirty hair and for top knots. I’m a fan of the smell, the texture it gives my hair, and the packaging. 10/10 Recommend
Target Circular Mirror
When Gretta was redoing their basement, she shared this mirror for their bathroom update. We bought it for our guest bathroom and what I appreciate is that it comes with a measurement template to help hang it. I can’t wait to share the finished design with you. Also, it’s hard to beat the price for the size of the mirror as well. 10/10 Recommend
The Splendid and the Vile
My friend, Caroline, recommended this book a few weeks ago, and wow! It’s a great read, especially if you like history. I ordered from our local bookstore, Quail Ridge Books, and they immediately shipped it for free. 10/10 Recommend
Amazon Bracelet Set
I saw these bracelets over on Betsy and Katie‘s Instagram and I thought they were so cute to brighten up the days. They’re affordable, and despite being trendy, I think they’re stackable with other bracelets I already have. 10/10 Recommend
I hope you’re staying safe and well during this time and are taking care of your mental health as best you can. Sending good vibes!
