Well, here is my last Instagram roundup in 2018. When I do my December edition of this post, it will be 2019. It’s hard to believe that the holidays sprung up on us so rapidly. I am constantly in shock at how fast time moves and I love the opportunity to reflect each month through this edition. In a few weeks, I’ll be asking y’all what you want to see moving forward, including this type of post for 2019. But for today, I am welcoming December with a November 2018 Instagram Roundup.
This semester of grad school has definitely been the heaviest lift for me so far on top of starting a new job. This may have been the most appropriate meme I’ve seen to establish my current state of mind. But, y’all, those parts drinking enough water and texting people back were definitely the hardest.
My go-to holiday order is the Starbucks Christmas blend dark roast.

I think the most important thing we can do is to exercise our right to vote. I was ecstatic to see the outpouring of civic engagement in this midterm election cycle and was proud to wear this “Vote” t-shirt from BootsTees. The word vote is made up of versions of “woman” in over 100 languages. You’ll definitely be seeing this shirt every election cycle.
This outfit is one of my go-tos regardless of season in my closet.

I have a new favorite brewery in North Carolina and it’s Little Brother Brewing Company in Greensboro. Not only do they have delicious beer, but they have the coolest space.
This J. Crew Factory coat is the perfect weight for cooler days without being too heavy. I wore it on our recent trip to Winston-Salem and am constantly reaching for it.

One of my favorite places to shop for gifts is Mast General Store. We made a stop on our trip to Winston-Salem and I had to peruse the candy section in honor of my sister-in-law.
One of my favorite places in Raleigh is the Family Farm on Avent Ferry. David hosted my surprise 30th birthday party here almost 2 years ago, and I have shared my love for it here and here. If you are local, make a trip and spend the afternoon. It has the best view in Wake County.
