Hi, friends! We woke up on November 2 to seasonably appropriate temperatures, and when I sat down to look at our November, I was increasingly excited for this year’s holiday season! We are looking forward to spending time with family and friends to finish up 2019 and to welcome a new decade! Thanks for joining me for the October 2019 Instagram Fashion Roundup! One of my favorite places to visit in the fall is Halifax, NC. One of my favorite restaurants dresses up their entry way for fall, and the menu is absolutely delicious! You can still shop this look below as well!
Amazon Fashion Top | J. Crew Factory Black Skinnies | Jeffrey Campbell Booties
Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewing is one of my favorite spots in Raleigh right now. They boast a fresh, local menu with great views, a beautiful patio, and delicious beverages! Here are details on my Free People dress and my favorite Ray-Ban polarized Aviators.
Benchwarmers Bagels in Transfer Co. Food Hall is well worth the wait in line for one of their wood-fired bagels. Enjoy a cup of coffee while you wait. I love their bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel… plus it comes with Duke’s Mayo!
I really love decorating our front porch throughout the seasons. Here is our recent fall update with our go-to decor items linked.
I recently hosted a styling event at J.Crew in Crabtree and was pleased to see some of may favorite items back in stock this holiday season! My go-to velvet pants are available here, coupled with this sweater. These shoes aren’t back, but here is a fun version for this year. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway, check out Winston-Salem, especially during the upcoming holiday season. Our dinner at Spring House was absolutely divine, and this sitting area in the bar is so dreamy.
One of my favorite dates to take with David is to bartaco to try their secret taco. Did you know that you can try their secret taco just by writing it on the menu? It’s a fun way to try something new when eating at an old favorite.
bohme Blouse | Levi’s Skinnies | Target Mules | Cuyana Tote & Insert | Michelle McDowell Earrings
I very much love a good door mat combination, and you can see more of them here. I also am so glad I purchased these Rothy’s for both weekend wear and for work. Remember, you can get $20 off your first pair if you use this link.
I am loving this Pottery Barn duvet cover for fall and will continue to use into the winter after the holiday season. I use this one for our Christmas decorations as seen in last year’s holiday home tour.
One of my favorite posts I’ve written was this tour of NC fast food places with Courtney and Glory. Check out our adventure from last fall here.
I’ve mentioned before that I am obsessed with the nail art that Khameo has been doing recently! This manicure is definitely one of my all-time favorites. You can book her services here!
Topshop Sweater | Spanx Faux Leather Leggings | Adidas Sneaks | David Yurman Bangle
I had the best time attending the NC State Fair Media Preview this year, including taking the first ride on the Skygazer Ferris wheel and helping pick the winner of the best new food at this year’s fair!
J. Crew Chambray Shirt | bohme Pleated Skirt (similarhere) | Target Heeled Mules | Mignonne Gavigan Earrings
I’m so excited to share our fall home tour. I really adore coming home to this house, especially when it’s decorated for fall and winter.
I recently got to experience thriving downtown Goldsboro and really enjoyed my time exploring. P.S. this sweater is a good one for fall and winter.
I shared some of my favorite fall destinations in North Carolina here. Look how lovely Winston-Salem’s Reynolda House is all decked out for fall!
One of the best spots at the State Fair is this garden expo! It’s right beside the Our State Public House, and are our two must-stop places on our annual state fair visit.
TopShop Sweater | Madewell Jeans | Jeffrey Campbell Booties
Check out some of my favorite nail polish colors for fall here.
I recently had lunch at Morgan Street Food Hall for the kabobs at Sassool’s stand. I wore this soft sweater dress from J.Crew.
For the last weekend in October, David and I went to Wilmington for one last beach weekend of the year. The weather was beautiful and made for a great beach weekend. We had the best time exploring and trying out some new activities. Be sure to stay tuned for our trip details coming soon.
I adore a good window box, and these from Front Street Inn in Wilmington were absolutely perfect.
I recently shared our second year home updates. I cannot believe it’s already been two years since we’ve been here and I really love the changes we’ve made to make our house a home.
