Well, here we are, y’all. Heading into the last weekend of 2024! I can hardly believe it. I am so ready to see 2024 come to and end, though I am not exactly thrilled about what 2025 may hold. November flew by with the various holidays and our annual trip to Valle Crucis. That said, I start decorating early in November, and with Thanksgiving being so late this year, I am glad that I did! Last month’s favorites included a new throw blanket that is absolutely luxurious, olive brine for your bar cart, lots of lighting options for your home, and a set of 4 ribbons to keep on hand regardless of the season. Quince Ruched Faux Fur Blanket
I was eyeing a version of this blanket all season that was substantially more expensive. I had never made a purchase from Quince and after reading the over 100+ 5 star reviews, I decided this was a safe first purchase. Let me tell you! It is incredible quality! It comes in 4 different colors and 2 different sizes. I opted for the color snow in the 50×60 size. I cannot get over the weight of it and how soft it is. If you have been eyeing a more expensive version, too, save your monies and get this one!
Amazon Under-Cabinet Lighting
For years, David and I had battery-operated puck lights under our cabinets for a little extra lighting. Last month, I updated that lighting with these rechargeable lights that come with a remote control, are magnetic for their holder, and have a motion sensor. These would also work in a closet or in built-in cabinets. We ordered the set of 4 in the 11.8 inch size and have been really pleased with the quality and length of the charge.
Filthy Olive Brine for Cocktails
I ordered this olive brine to try for my at-home dirty martinis and it is the best that I have found! I shared it on my Instastories and received lots of comments and follow-up from friends that they tried this and it passed their tests, too. I ordered the set of 2 pouches and I added some of the brine to my olives jar and it has been a delight. Have it on hand for your bar cart!
Set of 12 Flameless Candles with Clips
I picked up more of these for our holiday decorations. I love that they are so versatile with the clips. The remote is always a nice feature, too, that includes a 6 hour timer. I use these everywhere. I attach to wreaths and garland, use inside our tree, and without the clips in candle holders. They take one double A battery. Set of 4 Velvet Ribbon Set
I picked up this set of thin, 3/8 inch, velvet ribbon and I used all of the colors up for gift wrapping and decorating this holiday season. The size is perfect for a subtle touch and it is great quality for the price. I was able to tie the perfect bows with this ribbon. I will definitely repurchase for the holiday season moving forward to keep on hand because it was so nice.
