Good morning and happy Friday, y’all! I hope you’re having a great month! It’s hard to believe we’re in the middle of May already. I am really excited about a weekend getaway with my two best girls from college. We’ve been talking about this for quite a long time, so it’s really exciting to finally take our trip together. Thank you for joining me for this month’s coffee talk! And be sure to follow along on our adventure over on Instagram.
Coffee Talk: May 2019 Edition
Y’all, this article about 10 hauntingly beautiful abandoned places really does highlight some gorgeous spots!
Here are two of my favorite outfits that I’ve been loving recently (dirty mirror is a bonus):
This song sends me to tears every time. I always think about this, so in the lyrics, where she says:
Oh, I don’t know the reasons why
I’m the one who’s driving by
And she’s the one on the corner of 18th Street
I lose it. It always shakes me to my core when I hear it, but I very much appreciate it as a reminder.
I am really obsessed with our new front porch set up thanks to our Vantage Shutters. And I’m not sure I’ve gone a day without wearing my Rothy’s yet. Remember, you can get $20 off, and I’ll earn $20, too. I wore these while walking around Chicago last weekend and they are truly comfortable and easy to clean.
One of my favorite pictures of Winston ever…
David took me to Chef & the Farmer to celebrate a milestone. I was so excited to get back to Kinston, and I updated the travel guide here. Be sure to get the flash fried collards and an RBG cocktail while visiting Vivian’s gem.
P.S. shop this outfit here:
I picked up a couple of new products from the Sephora VIB sale, and I am loving these products.
I’m so excited to have some time coming up to be able to read for fun. Here is the first one on my list of books to read.
Our next home project will be updating our office with new flooring and built-ins. I am so excited to frame these prints from Green Blanky Studio, a small, woman-owned business in the mountains of North Carolina. These prints mainly represent cities and states around the United States, but there are options for international cities as well. Some of my favorite spots in Raleigh and North Carolina are featured on this artwork and I can’t wait to show you how we use these art prints in our office. P.S. You can get 30% off until June 30 with the code: ImFixinToShop online at Green Blanky Studio!
This workout is a great way to start a morning, especially on busy days when I can’t make it to barre.
I hope you have a great weekend! Stay tuned for an upcoming blog post on our girls’ weekend in St. Augustine!
